On Monday, Dec. 14, members of the Valley Stream North High School Brass Choir brought their holiday cheer to the Green Acres Mall, where they performed music for the community. The group of 23 students brought back a music department tradition from the early 1990’s as they played classics such as Jingle Bells, Hark the Herald Angels and Jolly Old Saint Nicholas. The ensemble is comprised of brass musicians from grades 9-12 and practices under the direction of band director Todd Holly.
