On Sunday, March 25, 2018, seven members of North's S.T.O.P. Club (Students and Teachers Opposing Prejudice) spent an evening at Bethany House in Baldwin. Bethany House, a nonprofit organization, provides emergency shelter and services for homeless women and their children. The students from North brought homemade dinner and desserts to the families at Bethany House. Everyone sat down together to enjoy dinner and conversation. After eating, the students played games and colored with the children. Everyone had a fantastic night! S.T.O.P. values the Bethany House mission. They adopted a family at Bethany House over the holidays and this is their third year hosting dinner and game night. They are looking forward to their next trip in April for some outdoor spring fun with the children and their families!
