The Valley Stream Central High School Department of Health and Physical Education is proud to announce that six students were recognized as 2018 Outstanding Middle School Physical Education Student Award recipients. They were selected for their abilities to exhibit a physically active lifestyle, demonstration of responsible behavior and leadership, value of physical activity and wellness and overall excellence in Physical Education.

Congratulations to Memorial Junior High School’s Samantha Cisneros and Samarki Williams North High School students Filomena Pereira and Evan Karazgiozi and Avani Voytelmgum and Matthew Wallach from VS South. These six outstanding students were honored at a ceremony hosted by the Nassau Zone of the New York State Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance on May 10 at Roslyn High School.
