Forty-seven World Language students from Central and Memorial were recently awarded first, second, third or honorable mention prizes in the Long Island Language Teachers Competitions for 2018 for their original poetry. Students composed their original poems in their French, Italian or Spanish classes for submission to the annual contest held in April.
