On Friday, November 8th, Memorial World Language teachers visited Clear
Stream Elementary School to introduce current 6th grade students to the
three world languages offered at Memorial: French, Italian and Spanish.
Students had the opportunity to learn greetings, colors and useful
expressions in all three languages. From “Bonjour” and “Arrivederci” to
“¿Cómo estás?” and “Me llamo” students enjoyed speaking all three
languages in preparation for their language study in Memorial Junior
High School in September, 2020. Students also learned about The Leaning
Tower of Pisa in Italy and identified different colors from a street in
Colombia. Memorial World Language teachers are very much looking
forward to working with the Clear Stream Elementary School students next
year.
