FIVE VALLEY STREAM SENIORS EARN
NATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT PROGRAM
“OUTSTANDING PARTICIPANT” STATUS
The Valley Stream Central High School District takes pride in announcing that five of its students - Chell Burke, Carlsky Belizare, Zakiya Jamal from North High School and Lamar McCormack and David Guilbaud from Central High School – have been designated as “Outstanding Participants” in the National Achievement Scholarship Program. These students are among approximately 3,100 students being recognized nationally. Their scores on the 2009 PSAT place them in the top 3 percent of a select group of Black American students. “Outstanding Participants” are referred to colleges for their potential for academic success.. |
