The Valley Stream Central High School District takes pride in announcing that two of its students -  Toluwani Dawodi from North High School and Ariel Bourne from Central High School – have been designated as Semi-Finalists in the National Achievement Scholarship Program.  These students are among approximately 3,100 students being recognized nationally. Their scores on the 2010 PSAT scores place them in the top 3 percent of a select group students who are referred to colleges for their potential for academic success..
