North Science Students Earn College Credit

1 thumbnail135362

Students in the Authentic Science Research program at North High School earned college credit this summer for advancement in their independent science research projects. The class participates in the Science Research in the High School program offered by the State University of New York at Albany as students earned 2 credits in either the Intermediate Science Research course (Juniors) or the Advanced Science Research course (Seniors). Each student worked independently on their unique projects under the guidance of their mentors and had to log at least 90 hours of research time throughout July and August. Students will now register and have the opportunity to earn 4 more credits throughout the 2019-2020 school year as their projects move forward.

Congratulations to the following students, and special thanks to their mentors!
