Valley Stream Central High School’s 2019 homecoming game held a new level of excitement and community spirit on Oct. 12, when celebrations were held on the new turf field at Memorial Junior High School. The Eagles put up a strong fight against Manhasset while spectators cheered them on.

As in past years, a banner parade featured designs constructed by the various grades and student organizations, and Central’s band and cheerleaders provided entertainment throughout the event. Joedell Bastien and Kailee Finn were named Homecoming King and Queen.

A pep rally took place the day prior in order to build up energy and enthusiasm for the main festivities. The Eagles and their supporters were eager to see their team name in big letters on their new playing grounds!
