• Be on time
  • If you enter the class after the bell rings you will be marked late
  • 3 late marks = call home and detention
  • 4 late marks = See School Lateness Policy
• Attendance is crucial to success
  • Missed notes must be obtained from classmates or teacher during office hours
  • Missed exams must be re-scheduled upon return to class. It is the responsibility of the student to schedule a make-up exam with the teacher. Any exam not re-scheduled will be marked as a zero
• During group work provide either teacher or group members with school file password so work can be accessed during absence
• Food and drinks are not permitted in the classroom
• Students are expected to take notes during class time
• Students should come to class prepared with following unless otherwise notified:
  § Pen/Pencil
  § Notebook
  § Textbook
• All students are expected to participate in classroom discussions
  • All students will be called on - do not call out
  • Interrupting the teacher or a classmate is unacceptable
• All projects must be typed using size 12-font and standard margins unless otherwise directed

Guest Speakers/Field Trips:

Guest speakers from a variety of industries may speak to the class about their respective career. In addition, related field trips may be taken throughout the year. Students are expected to behave professionally and respectfully. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of all future classroom guests and trips.
