This course will address all of the New York State English Language Arts standards and expose students to multiple genres in reading and writing including required readings by Steinbeck, Hemingway, Coleridge and Shakespeare. Students will be given many opportunities for authentic assessment activities such as creative projects, research and oral reports. Our annual Shakespeare Festival took place on Friday, May 6, 2005 with outstanding performances, stunning costumes and superb work by our students!!
