October 19: Today we begin to look at current events in science. Begin clipping articles that interest you! We will be going to the computer lab to find science journal to search. The newspaper and magazines often have good science new in them as well!Scientist reports are due FRIDAY 10-22.....don't be late!
October 12: Progress reports are coming! Have you handed in all your assignments? Scientist reports are due Friday October 22. First notecard should be handed in this week! Topic for the week....careers in science!
September 27: This week you will be getting your log-ins for your Memorial files. Keep all your computer files here! Please see me if you have not received the name of your scientist!
ALL of you should have a folder for handouts and a composition style notebook!
September 20: This week we will go to the library and find resources. You will be given the name of a scientist to research.
NOTICE!!!!!!! We should all expect to do quality work this year. Please read over any assignments before you hand them in. Ask yourself...."Is this the best I can do?"
September 2004: your first assignment is an essay....Don't worry, it is not a big deal. Due date Friday for period 5 and Monday for period 1!
Write a brief essay about you goals for the future. Where do you see yourself in 5 years....10 years...! Include you favorite subject, a career choice(these may change several times before you graduate but just talk about yourself today) Include the character traits you think you might need to succeed. Do you have them? What do you need to develop?What do you need to do right now to work toward your goals?Remember;;;;Introduction ......facts that support your opening statements.... and a conclusion. Pleasse try to do your homework on a word processor!!!!!!!!!!
