Mrs. Libertini has been involved in the scientific arena for
over eleven years. She received her Bachelor's Degree from SUNY
New Paltz. After graduating from New Paltz,she went on to direct
a genomics CORE Facility at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. In
2003 she received her Master's Degree in Education. She joined
the staff of North High School in the 2002-2003 school year and
is currently pursuing her administrative certification through
SUNY Stonybrook. Additionally, she is an adjunct professor at
Long Island University-CW Post Dept. of Biology.
This year, it is her pleasure to teach two very exciting courses
in Science. It is important to note, Mrs. Libertini's philosophy
is to integrate the world of technology with science. Success
in her classroom will be achieved through hard work and enthusiasm.
Aside from scientific skills, students in Mrs. Libertini's class
will develop study skills and scholastic strategies crucial to
continued academic success.
